As Eisenhower said, “That time has come along” “Don’t forget!!”
When I was a kid, I couldn’t understand why Eisenhower was so popular. Maybe this will explain why.
General Eisenhower warned us.
It is a matter of history that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect:
‘Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses – because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened’. A country that refuses to acknowledge is DOOMED to repeat it.
This week, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it ‘offends’ the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet… However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. A country that refuses to acknowledge is DOOMED to repeat it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the, six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests who were ‘murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated’ while many in the world looked the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be ‘a myth,’ it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets. A country that refuses to acknowledge is DOOMED to repeat it.

Our leaders in DC Claim it ‘NEVER HAPPENED’, A country that refuses to acknowledge is DOOMED to repeat it.
Because it offends some Muslim??? And according to Barrack Obama and Joe Biden, the Muslims are “peaceful”. I’m not arguing that SOME of them are. But the ones on 9/11? That was MURDER. Not a peaceful action. Their religion finds honor in MURDER. If we dare to not believe what they do, our lives are in danger.
What does our First Amendment specifically outline: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” it allows us the Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly and Petition.
Remember, our current Democratic Representatives in DC are telling us what we are allowed to read, what we are allowed to say, whether we are allowed to attend the church of our preference, and taking away our right to vote. They also claim that Antifa is an “idea”, and that China is our friend.
IF you are NOT irritated by all of this, my question would be WHY NOT? Thousands of soldiers throughout history gave their lives for OUR VERY FREEDOMS – while the Democrats with a stroke of a pen want to take them away. FREEDOM ISN’T FREE…SOMEONE HAD TO PAY FOR IT .
On November 3, 1980, Ronald Reagan referred the same event in his “Vision for America” In quoting John Winthrop’s words more than once on the campaign trail this year—for I believe that Americans in 1980 are every bit as committed to that vision of a shining city on a hill, as were those long ago settlers … These visitors to that city on the Potomac do not come as white or black, red or yellow; they are not Jews or Christians; conservatives or liberals; or Democrats or Republicans. They are Americans awed by what has gone before, proud of what for them is still… a shining city on a hill.
President Reagan would reference this concept through multiple speeches;[9] notably again in his January 11, 1989, farewell speech to the nation:
“I’ve spoken of the shining city all my political life, but I don’t know if I ever quite communicated what I saw when I said it. But in my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, wind-swept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That’s how I saw it, and see it still.”
We must NEVER forget that “America is a shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere”. Thousands of immigrants come to the USA every year. WHY? Freedom from oppression.
This continues to hold true 40 years later. We will NEVER be a socialist nation. REMEMBER: A country that refuses to acknowledge is DOOMED to repeat it. We CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN. This is OUR AMERICA.
