Camden County Day at the Capitol
Representative Jeff Vernetti hosted a Camden County Day at the Capitol in Jefferson City on March 12th. Over 30 county residents were met by Representative Vernetti in the rotunda. The group sat in on the House Session debating before a final bill vote. We then had presentations and Q&A with several elected officials or staff – Secretary of State Denny Hoskins, Staff Representative from Lt Governor David Wasingers’ office, and Head Attorney from Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s office. Representative Jeff Vernetti spent time updating the group on key issues and bills he is working on. After lunch, the group met up with Senator Mike Bernskoetter and sat in on part of the Senate Session. An additional tour of the Capitol was provided.
